So, This is pretty much ultima online redone after a decade? I used to develope for ultima online, was fun.
We take a ton of inspiration from Ultima Online. The key to Shards Online though is that we are opening up the platform so players can run their own shards. That way our players can play the game they want to play it rather than being stuck with the default rules we provide.
You said all the shards are connected, does that mean you can transfer a character from one server to another, will all of your skills and stats intact?
As long as those shards are part of the same cluster. Shards running in the same cluster must use the same ruleset (ie mod)
